About Mike and Keith
Michael Patrick and Keith Duke, lifelong friends and co-owners of Vital Coat Sealers and Coatings, built their business on hard work and shared values. Michael, raised on a farm outside Tallahassee, learned discipline early, including a tough lesson moving 684 cinder blocks after a bad report card. His career spanned plumbing, civil service, and various trades, shaping his adaptability.
Keith, the youngest of six in a hardworking family, excelled in construction, spending 25 years in heavy civil projects. His upbringing instilled resilience and ambition, preparing him for entrepreneurship.
Meeting in their teens, Michael and Keith bonded over ambition and perseverance. Their friendship became the foundation of Vital Coat, proving that hard work, determination, and strong values create lasting success.
