Purpose

This notice serves as the official retirement of the Vital Coat Authorized Installer Program associated with Shingle Shield RTU (formerly Shingle Shield One).

Following a strategic review of our contractor programs and continued investment in professional contractor support, Vital Coat Technologies has elected to retire the original Authorized Installer Program and replace it with a new professional contractor platform operating under the Shingle Shield Max Authorized Installer Program.

Scope of Retirement

Effective July 3, 2026:

• The original Vital Coat Authorized Installer Program is permanently retired.

• Recognition as a Vital Coat Authorized Installer under the retired program ends.

• No additional contractors will be enrolled in the retired program.

• Installer-specific benefits, recognition, and program support associated with the retired program will cease.

Continued Product Availability

The retirement of the Authorized Installer Program does not discontinue Shingle Shield RTU.

Shingle Shield RTU remains an active Vital Coat product and will continue to be manufactured and sold through established sales channels.

Contractors, distributors, retailers, and homeowners may continue purchasing and using Shingle Shield RTU in accordance with current product specifications and application guidelines.

Existing Manufacturer Product Warranties

Vital Coat Technologies will continue to honor all manufacturer product warranties that were properly submitted, accepted, and issued prior to July 3, 2026, subject to the warranty terms and conditions in effect at the time of issuance.

Nothing contained in this notice shall invalidate or diminish any previously approved manufacturer product warranty.

Former Authorized Installer Responsibilities

Former participants in the retired program are requested to:

• Remove references to “Vital Coat Authorized Installer” from websites, advertising, social media, printed materials, vehicle graphics, uniforms, and other promotional materials within thirty (30) days of the effective date.

• Discontinue use of Vital Coat Authorized Installer logos, badges, certificates, and marketing assets that identify them as active members of the retired program.

• Continue honoring any workmanship or service warranties they independently provided to their own customers, as those obligations remain solely between the contractor and their customer.

Future Professional Opportunity

Contractors interested in expanding their relationship with Vital Coat Technologies are encouraged to apply for the Shingle Shield Max Authorized Installer Program.

This new hybrid dealer program includes:

• Professional-grade Shingle Shield Max products

• Formal Authorized Installer Agreement

• VitalCoreOS Member Portal

• Comprehensive training and certification

• Dedicated product ordering portal

• Manufacturer support

• Business development resources

Participation in the Shingle Shield Max Authorized Installer Program is separate from the retired Authorized Installer Program and requires acceptance into the new program.

The original Vital Coat Authorized Installer Program played an important role in the early growth of our contractor network. We sincerely thank every contractor who participated and represented the Vital Coat brand.
